Rankings through games of 2012-11-04

New entries: Utah St..

Dropped out: Oregon St..

Another week, another Alabama #1.  However, this week marks the first blemish on their record. The Crimson Tide's offensive efficiency dropped from 29.2 +/- 5.5 PPH to 31.1 +/- 10.4 PPH. In essence, they dropped 2.4 PPH versus Oregon over last week's rankings. They're still expected to beat the Ducks, but the game is getting closer. Meanwhile, Oregon moved from 35.3 +/- 15.7 PPH to 33.1 +/- 10.1 PPH, demonstrating greater consistency versus quality competition. Kansas State is charging hard up the poll, tying Florida for the #4 spot. Little has changed for the Wildcats since last week, but Notre Dame's weak performance against Notre Dame and Florida's poor performance against Missouri caused them to drop.
