Rankings through games of 2012-09-30

New entries: Rutgers.

Dropped out: Michigan.

The Oregon Ducks are officially tied with the LSU Tigers for the honor of getting abused by Alabama in the national championship game.  The Ducks' offensive consistency is impressive at 25.0 +/- 0.2 PPH, suggesting that they could score 15.4 PPH against the Crimson Tide.  (RBA expects Alabama to score 20.3 PPH against the Ducks, but let's move past that for now.)

The other big movers and shakers this week include Wisconsin and Texas A&M.  The Badgers are sliding out of the top 25 rapidly thanks to losses against Oregon State and Nebraska.  In contrast, the Aggies are moving up the ranks by piling on my reeling Razorbacks, 58-10.  I didn't watch it, but I can only assume that it was as bad as the final score indicates.
